Week 3 - Supplies Needed

Here is the list of each days activities and the supplies that are needed for each one.

(Activities that do not need supplies are not listed here)

Many of the items can be found around the house, or bought at a local corner store.

Please note many basic supplies (such as markers, scissors etc.) are mentioned more than once.

Monday

  1. 30 toothpicks
    playdough,
    hourglass timer

  2. 1 Thick straw
    2 Thin straws
    2 Index cards
    Tape
    Scissors
    (1 pizza box, cereal box or foam board)
    Markers

  3. Nylon stockings or pantyhose
    Grass seeds (2 teaspoons)
    Soil, sawdust or potting (1 cup)
    Cup (with a large rim)
    Rubber bands (optional)
    Small jar, yogurt container or mini plant pot
    Decorations: googly eyes, fabric scraps, buttons, pipe cleaners, colored paper, markers
    Liquid glue

  4. 2 dice
    Apple
    Toothpicks
    Variety of fruit: cherry, grape, strawberry, orange slice, dried apricot, blueberry, raisin

  5. Ring,
    Rubber Band,
    Coin,
    Napkins,
    Crayons

Tuesday

  1. Shabbos Foil Art Kit

  2. A tall glass jar that can hold 1½ cups of liquid
    ¼ cup measuring cup
    Spoon for mixing
    ¼ cup Rubbing alcohol
    ¼ cup Corn syrup or honey
    ¼ cup Olive oil
    ¼ cup Blue dish soap
    Food coloring: red, blue and green

  3. Tin foil (5 sheets)
    Pipe cleaners (15)
    Tape (optional)

  4. Skewer
    Cookie cutters (Flowers, hearts or stars)
    Melon (watermelon, cantaloupe etc.)
    Grapes or Blueberries

Wednesday

  1. Challah Cover, Markers / Crayons

  2. Perler beads
    Perler pegboard
    Non-slip craft mat (optional)
    Small bowls (to separate colored beads)
    Wax paper or parchment paper
    Towel
    Clothing Iron (an adult will handle this)

  3. Large Cups
    Container or Disposable pan
    Plastic Spoons
    1 cup White Vinegar
    4-6 Tablespoons Baking soda
    Dish Soap
    Water
    Washable Paint

  4. Fruit loops
    Chopsticks
    Bowl
    Timer

Thursday

  1. Printable Let's Chalk Shabbat Stencil, Chalk

  2. Smooth round rock (find outside)
    Paint
    Paint brush
    Variety of craft materials: googly eyes, yarn, pipe cleaners, pom poms, feathers
    Glue
    Shoebox, jar, plastic container or berry basket (optional)

Friday

  1. Hanging Chalk board,
    Shabbos letters,
    Markers
    Chalk
    Gem stones
    Glue
    Paint

  2. Loaf Pan
    Parchment paper
    2 Bowls
    1 Loaf Frozen Bread Dough (Defrosted)
    3 Tablespoons Cocoa
    ½ Cup Sugar
    2 Tablespoons Flour
    1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
    5 Tablespoons Oil

  3. 2 Plastic cup
    2 Balloons
    Tape
    2 index cards
    Scissors
    1 Ping Pong ball

  4. Pen or pencil

  5. Jumbo craft sticks (2)
    Wide rubber band
    Smaller rubber bands (2)
    Straw
    Scissors
    Markers (optional, to decorate)
